Help on ethnic migration in the Republic of Kazakhstan

By the end of 2017 returned to their homeland and got the status of oralman 9 989 families or 18 605 ethnic Kazakh.

Most of oralmans, 45.6% of the profits from the Republic of Uzbekistan, 43,6% are immigrants from China, 3.2 per cent of Turkmenistan, 2,4% - from Mongolia, 1,8% were from Russia, and 3.4% from other countries.

The greatest number of repatriates settled in Almaty – 4 119 families (7 of 140 people), South Kazakhstan – 2 060 households (3 377 persons), Astana – 935 families (1 372 people)., Zhambyl – 597 families (960 people) East Kazakhstan – 490 (1 007 people), Mangystau – 389 families (2 008 people) and Zhambyl – 9.3% of areas.

Persons of working age account for 66,4%, persons under 18 years old – 27,6%, and retirees – 6.0 per cent.

From among the repatriates of working age by educational level of 13.3% - have higher education, 22.7 percent for secondary education, 55.5% of General secondary education, 8.5 percent have no education.
