What is compulsory social insurance and who is subject to compulsory social insurance?

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On compulsory social insurance", compulsory social insurance - a set of measures, organized, controlled and guaranteed by the state to offset part of the income in connection with disability, loss of job and loss of spouse, loss of income in connection with pregnancy and childbirth, adoption (adoption) of a newborn child (children) and care for child reaches one year of age.

Are subject to social insurance workers, self-employed persons, including foreigners and persons without citizenship, permanently residing on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and engaged in income-generating activities on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the exception of recipients of pension payments from the State center for payment of pensions.
