The prospects of cooperation between employment centers and private recruitment agencies in the framework of the Project of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the world Bank "the Development of labor skills and promote jobs."

Astana hosted a Round table with the participation of private recruitment agencies and the employment Center of Astana, dedicated to the mutually beneficial cooperation on the collection of data on vacancies and employment applicants.

The discussion took place in the framework of the Project "Development of labor skills and promote jobs," according to which will be implemented a range of measures to strengthen employment Centers, employment departments, and government of rural districts to improve the quality of services for the population. An additional 20 thousand unemployed and unproductive self-employed Kazakhstan citizens will be trained in accordance with the needs of the labor market and 12.7 thousand employees will be trained to improve professional skills and increase productivity.

Since 2011 in Kazakhstan there are 199 employment Centers, the most important direction of work is the promotion of employment and provision of various support measures for citizens in search of work. During the round table discussed the cooperation model, according to which private agencies, websites or magazines for employment will provide information on vacancies to employment Centers.

According to the Director of the employment Center of Astana Olzhas Omar: "At the moment of employment Centers is quite wide functionality. Except for employment, our responsibilities include monitoring and predictive analysis of the labor market, implementation of state programs of employment assistance, vocational training, seeking registration of persons as unemployed, receipt of documents for assignment of social payments, social, professional orientation, and more. In addition, the employment Centers provide their services for free; therefore, we have a very large flow of applicants. For example, a day, a consultant can take up to 25-30 visitors."

According to representatives of recruitment agencies, there is a clear understanding that they are employment Centers are partners. Private agencies have their own niche, personalized approach to the customer, and the opportunity to be a member of the international project of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the World Bank is an additional incentive for cooperation.

"We will continue discussions in this area to understand the degree of readiness of private agencies to cooperate and develop mutually beneficial partnership model. The main goal of this cooperation is to involve the greatest number of the unemployed and unproductive self-employed in the labor force" - said Lyazzat Akmurzina the team leader for managing the project "Development of labor skills and promote jobs."

Reference: the Project aims to improve results in the field of employment and labor skills, as well as to improve the relevance of training programmes and training institutions in technical and vocational and higher education.

The executing Agency of the Project is the Ministry of health and social development of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter – MH).

The project is implemented in 2016-2020, the Ministry of health and social development of the Republic of Kazakhstan in close cooperation with the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National chamber of entrepreneurs "Atameken".
