Today Minister of Healthcare and Social Development of the RK Tamara Duisenova, Senior Director of the Department of the World Bank on development Klaudia Kostin and Head of the Department of the World Bank on Development Mario Christian Ayedo on development the region of Europe And Central Asia launched in Astana the project "Development of labor skills and stimulation of jobs" envisaging improvement of results of employment in RK.
Representatives of the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development, Education and Science, Finance, National chamber of "Atameken" entrepreneurs and Federation of trade unions of Kazakhstan took part in the event.
The above-mentioned project will be implemented with aims of implementation of the Framework partnership agreement made with the World Bank Group by the Government of Kazakhstan in May 2014.
In accordance with the mentioned agreement, it is planned to implement a number of projects together with international financial organizations including the project "Development of labor skills and stimulation of jobs" which it is planned to sell at the expense of an International Bank for Reconstruction and Development loan (100 million US dollars) and joint financing from the republican budget (37 million US dollars).
The credit agreement (the project "Development of labor skills and stimulation of jobs") between the Republic of Kazakhstan and International Bank for Reconstruction and Development is ratified by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 5, 2016.
The project objective:
- Development of the National system of qualification, enhancement of relevance of technical and vocational education, training, and program of higher education;
- improvement of results in the field of employment and labor skills of target beneficiaries, training of highly qualified specialists with qualification required in the job market.
Creation of modern system of qualification corresponding to promising tasks of economic development, taking into consideration specificity of high-tech plants, as well as development of supply in the labor market in accordance with existing demand are expected result of implementation of project, which will allow to reduce an imbalance between demand and supply in the market.
It is planned to complete the project on June 30, 2020.
On March 15 of this year Astana will host a seminar on implementation of project for representatives of the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development, Education and Science and Finance, National chamber of enterpneuper of "Atameken".
