05.02.2010 Nur Otan Party holds forum on President’s address
 A few thousand people took part in a large-scale forum organised by the Nur Otan People’s Democratic Party and held in the city of Pavlodar. People of various age and professions got together to express their support for the President’s policy and the initiatives he pointed out in his annual address to the nation.
Medet Dyusembayev, Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant:
- All the people who are free for today have come here. There are thousands of them. We all support the strategy of our President. I was absolutely happy when the President mentioned our Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant. I have worked at this 4-thousand-strong company for only 2 years. Now, I and my workmates are trying to double our labour productivity and work in two shifts.

- This meeting is clear evidence that every individual should be charged with this and realize that this is the task of the next 10 years.
With one week passed since the President’s address was delivered, many Pavlodar residents have already analysed the key tasks included in it.

- This year’s address is a very important and strategic document. It is a historical one as it has been adopted in 2010. A new decade began with a new address. In this year’s address, the President pointed out that citizens are the basic value of our country. I fully support the President’s 2020 strategy.
According to the first deputy chairman of the Nur Otan Party, Nurlan Nigmatulin, the key document of the year also reflects all the basic moments of the Republic’s development.

- Today’s a forum in Pavlodar has brought together representatives of various professions including metallurgists, engineers, builders and energy sphere employees, teachers, doctors, intellectuals and students. This is the evidence that the whole nation supports the President’s address because every line in this historical document opens up new opportunities for the Republic and every family living in Kazakhstan. The implementation of those projects, which are highlighted in the President’s address and related to the Pavlodar region, which as an industrial centre has the majority of it, I think this is another proof that Kazakhstan’s economy and the whole country are moving full ahead.
A few large-scale projects have already been commissioned in the Pavlodar region providing thousands of people with jobs. Under the boosted industrial and innovative development programme, another 12 large-scale projects are to be put into effect in the next 5 years.
