ASTANA. February 22. KAZINFORM Today Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan Absattar Kazhy Derbisali, the President's press service informs.
The Supreme Mufti reported to the President on the work of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan. The parties debated the religious situation in the country and further advance of interfaith and interethnic consent.
As the Supreme Mufti noted, Kazakhstan has been preparing its own personnel over the period of 11 years. Above 960 imams received education, 9 Madrassas were opened, scientific and practical conferences were held, and books were published.
